Description
It is Monkeyboy, the self-admittedly incongruously-monikered chimpanzee superhero! And he is cheerful, probably on account of the huge quantity of bananas piled behind him. Either that, or he's just been struck on the head with something heavy and we're seeing him barely a second before a humorous sideways topple off the side of the frame.

This was a little experiment to see how quickly I could digi-colour a drawing taken from an as-yet-unpublished Apeman and Monkeyboy comic. In the event it took just a couple of hours, including the time it took to fiddle about with the background bits (which are photographic elements made to – hopefully – look like they've been painted), and I think it turned out quite well. It's best not to stare at this one for too long, though. After a while it starts to look like his incisors are following you around the room.
