A friend had asked me to try my hand at realism and walk away from the cartoonier stuff I did, and I found this photo of Rihanna so I figured I would give it a go. After seeing this I'm not sure if I am pumped up to do it or completely drained of self confidence this is amazing. Great work![link]

This is what happened to me! I went on deviant and saw all these amazing drawings and thought "i cant do that why should i even bother?" but i had a go anyway, i wasn't so great when i started but i got better. I still need to work on my drawings because i can still improve and hopefully i am. I found that looking at a good drawing would tend to make me feel really crap but sometimes it made me work harder to get to that result
