Another quick pic!!A portrait about a version of male viera with his child.
I have a theory about viera's life style; the males live in remote areas from the females and only come together to procreate, boys stay with their fathers and girls with their mothers. Something like amazon's myth.
Explanations
According to Ultimania’s guide book (a kind of official magazine of tips and secrets of FF), male viera exist and they live in separate forest at least in the world of FFXII not the FFTA.

I didn’t know anything about this before making this drawing, anyway it's just my theory (may be correct or not) and I use it to cover the holes that leave Square-Enix.

I know its a little (VERY) late to say this but, the vieras supossedly have no males in their race, when a viera slash other viera and one of them slash a plant/tree from the tree falls a seed and of that seed rise a bif flower with the baby viera

Im curious,if the viera only come together to mate then go their seperate ways,then how does the father know if his child is a boy?Since the girls live with their mothers,do the boys stay with their mothers as well until they are a certain age then go live with their fathers? (What a rough life,how would you explain that to your kid

I mean with the Faol...Faoel? whatever viera it was a bloody fucking angel thing that mated with a viera and made a whole new race of viera, and they weren't mentioned to be all females either

That idea is uniquely bizarre and wonderful. This is a cool concept! I like how you were able to make the viera masculine and yet still retained his their identities as viera. Very nice!

If they reproduced asexually you wouldn't have all those mini-quests where you are hooking up viera with male humes.
No sex means no lust meaning no hooking up.

They don't reproduced asexually, if you read I explain that in FFXII guide say that male exist.

This is so sweet. I wish Squeenix would clarify on male viera, since they exist. It also makes me wonder why there are so few of them. Female viera remind me of Amazonian women, in which men were very few amongst them. :3 this is beautiful, and congrats on the daily deviation. <3

well this is just my own opinion but there is most likely no male race of vierra but they can interbreed with humes but they cannot interbreed with the bangaa or seeqs but if they do interbreed with a hume then the baby will always end up as a vierra but idk i may be wrong

Whether they're in the game or not, whether they exist or not, whether they're canon or not- who cares? Because that viera- and not to mention the art- is beautiful.
This comment is a little behind the times, I know, but I couldn't help myself. I LOVE this piece. I think that anyone who argues about the existence of male viera here is simply jealous of your talent. "There weren't any in the games, ergo there aren't any male viera." Please. Someone obviously hasn't heard the commentary game creators make about their storylines and the characters within them. (I said this was behind the times. –cough-)
Anyway, long rant made short: I love this piece (and male viera, just like a great deal of us seem to). Keep up the beautiful work, yes? ^_^

..however i did wonder on how they could "be with" human males...never seen a child or anything in the game...
