I was listening to this song for a lot of the time spent on this. Also what inspired the flowers. [link] ♥ :]
This originally was drawn over 3 months ago, but finally wanted to finish it up. I was looking around for stag-sort of gods, and while Cartney was based on Herne the Hunter , I felt that Cernunnos was more fitting, being a deity for nature.
I was pretty happy with the anatomy I didn't want to draw clothes, ahahaha.

But seriously, this is a really nice picture. The anatomy is nice and the placement of the cloth just daring enough to let the imagination run wild. I like the theme, because its one of those themes i love. The colours are soft and really suite cartneys personality

Aaah, finished, this is gorgeous Sor~ I love the colors, the background ties this together super well with the texture and fading peach color. Those flowers are perfect, and wow so many!
And Cartney looks marvelous, his antlers look really good, sharp and solid colors, and his hair looks so thick and lush~ very nice. And he himself looks great, I think nude was definitely the only way to go with this picture. The sheer fabric adds the perfect amount of coverage, and still keeps it elegant and open.

I wanted to say thank you so much. Your comments are always so flattering and nice that I really enjoy reading them. You pick up on things that I thought long and hard on to get it to my liking. Like the background, or the fact to keep him covered with the cloth. I wanted to unify the colors with everything else. And the orangey/peachy color? I'm glad it worked well! I chose it as well because it contrasted nicely with his skin tone. <3

I have a lot of trouble using color, but I can recognize when it's working. And you use it so well all the time~ For being a warm, orangey color it's very soothing and calm, and it does suit Cartney's own skin colors very well. Brings out the earthiness in them~
