Wow, this is an amazing picture. I love the concept behind it.
Sure we all must have thought to ourselves about whether listening to our heart or our mind. But capturing that ideology in this wonderful picture is just 'awesome'.
I coudnt help but fave it the second i saw this as i just love the concept.
I would have loved it even more on a darker background though and maybe perhaps you could have used better looking objects to display.
Overall, this is just a great picture and the concept is going to make a lot of people wonder about who they truly listen to.
Their hearts or their minds.

You are right with the objects, it was a spontaneous idea and I only took what I had at home without searching for nicer objects 
For the white background: I know many people do not like it, but I do somehow, maybe I should think of an alternative

I made the picture more than half a year ago, in the meantime I have taken more colors in my backgrounds, this was like my white period

I think this is the most direct image I've ever seen, when measuring heart and reason in one's decisions. I loved the way how a simple composition managed to get such an impact on viewers.
I also liked the idea of balance in decisions, and the fact that neither heart or reason are weighing more on Β«the scaleΒ».
The Β«cartoonish ideaΒ» in the concept of this work was also very well achieved, as it seems the objects may come to life at any time! Trully a great work and valuable lesson for people who may be trying too hard to carry out a message.

To me, this is one of your most delicate and thoughtful concepts. While the background is just plain white and thus appropriately minimalistic, you've put a lot of work in the main subject. The model of the brain is very detailed and I can only imagine how hard it is to get that shape down.
The idea itself is both cute and thoughtful and picks up a very old problem well know to most lovers.
I am not a big fan of the whtie background, but I guess it works here and is, as I said, appropriate.

I know that you do not like the background, but I think it is perfect to bring attention to the subjects and by that to the meaning. I guess it is simply a matter of taste
Oh, and this was not only for decisions concerning love but also life whether you choose what you love or what you should rationally do

oh interesting concept, so which you would choose: brain or love? so if you choose love (if you are in love) you are fool (there is a saying: love is fool); but on the other hand, if you wanna be smart, if you choose the brain, than you are really smart guy, but you don't get the love than...

The heart does not symbolise explicit love, but feelings in general. Nontheless, your interpretation says what I wanted to express.
