I found it about 12 or so years ago, but lost it to overgrowth and not actually going to see it. Back when I first found it, I had to wade in near waist deep muck for 20 or so yards to get to it(the area has since dried up). Determination. Especially since I didn't know if it was anything real, because I could only see what I thought was a car window.

It's a shame about this nice old car... I really like these old cars.

This one looks like the last people who drove it had fun wrecking it into things.

Actually, this was the day before I got extremely over heated.
The day I got too hot, I went back out here with both of my cameras in a camera bag and my tripod. I had to air up the rear tire on my bike anyway, it was low from not airing it up for a while. So I aired it up then rode a little ways down the road and thought I had left the door unlocked, so I went back to check. The door was locked, but it seemed like my tire wasn't aired up enough so I put some more air in it. I rode out and got there and took my photos, relaxed and had a snack, and to drink some water.
I walked back to my bike and walked it out to the road. I got on and started to ride away. It was then I noticed it was completely flat. I had no other choice but to ride it back home, flat. I could have walked it, but it was hot and getting hotter. I figured I could travel faster riding than walking. Shit, It was like running into an oven, slowly. No wind, and I had drank all of my water.
Poo.
I got home chugged some cold water, and took a long cool, gradually getting colder shower. When I got out of the shower, I tried to relax, but I knew I wasn't quite cooled off. I put my ice packs on my head and laid down. I would doze off for a little while until the packs warmed up, then got another, and so on. I only have 3 ice packs. I had to take an imitrex to get rid of the headache, but my head still hurt all night.
Now, I'm leaving earlier or later to do my walks or to take pictures. Today, I went out before 10 and it was 'only' 79-80 it felt pretty good. I had my Minolta and Nikon wrapped around my neck and my tripod in my hand. I combined my daily walk with a photo session. I probably walked two miles, out there, through the woods and back. It was getting a little hot on the way back, so I walked through the woods in the shade as long as I could before I had to hit the road.

we don't have the brutal heat and humidity here in the North woods like you do,
and once Aug and Sept come I have learned to get up at 6 am for my walks and
shooting or just stay home..We don't have running water or air conditioning in the
forest so everything has to be planned when Mother Nature decides to get stubborn.
I have an ATV that I run around on and have bought all the snap on bags to carry my
equipment, but I go so deep that if anything happened to the ATV, I would be in
trouble after awhile...so i can really appreciate all you go through to get the
great shots....

I know you are young, but every day above ground and sucking air is a great adventure...

You get to be over the age of 40 and all the "things" become less important then
being able to get up out of bed alive and have another chance to live your
passion and enjoy your life....
