The city of Golden and metro Denver, Colorado lay in a sleeping slumber on an early morning as the sunrise starts a new day. Captured from the top of Lookout Mountain, the exposure was about 30 seconds long. It got to be rather cold after a bit but it certainly was worth it to get this shot!I hope you all enjoy it

I really love this. I took a picture like this from Mount Evans this summer, but it didn't turn out Lookout Mountain is closer to the city as well. Regardless of which mountain you're on, it's still really amazing to see the city lights below in the early morning as the sun comes up. I loved it.

Nice! Somewhere up by ol' Buffalo Bill's gravesite? I've tried a couple of night-time shots from partway up Green Mountain, but even with a good tripod the wind shook my camera too much for good images... Yours is WAYYYYY better!

Sunset shots are always so magical, and yours is no exception. The twinkling lights of the city gives way to a magnificent sunset. This takes me back to when I was younger and lived in the mountains. You could see the beautiful lights from the cities high in the hills.
Llamas are still awesome regardless.

I always love shots like this. I can never get them because my camera is lackluster but I appreciate shots like this when I see them. Really love how clear the photo came out, even though you were pretty far away from the city.
