Description
A gift to myself and tribute to Sasuke.Waiting through the darkness of pain, loneliness and hatred... Past his life that's been woven in lies and deceit, maybe deep inside, he's wishing for a rising sun, bright enough to rival the love for his brother, which the ninja world's hypocrisy turned into hatred and darkness itself... The hands reaching behind Sasuke belong to people murdered during the Uchiha massacre. They represent the hypocritical and rotten regime of Konoha, which is together with Madara's influence and Sasuke's too big of respect for Itachi the main causes of Sasuke's current position as an avenger.

I know I'm not much of an artist myself but oh, man. There is so much detail and the coloring is great. The only thing that threw me off, though, would be the Rinnegan eye inside the mask Tobi (or "Madara" if you wanna call him that) wears. I remember looking at one of the manga cover pictures as well as the anime; the Rinnegan eye has a purplish-gray hue to it instead of blue. It's possible that we could have computers with different lighting or color solutions (not too techno-savvy either so correct me if I'm wrong) so it's not too big of a problem.

There just truly is no criticizing this piece of art! It is astounding! You were able to capture the element of Sasuke. You were able to show the anger, fear, and agony the envelopes Sasuke. This is just a true masterpiece!! It is amazing! I am not a huge fan of Sasuke and this piece would make me want to become more interested in him. You are very talented and have proven such talent with just this piece of work alone! I hope to see more pieces like this from you and hope to see you develope even further if that is even possible because this is AMAZING! I don't have anything negative to say at all! Plus to me it shows Sasuke's darkness because he gets really weird and gets obessed with revenge which I don't like but awsome picture, also... i love it!

The characters on different planes, the rain, the glow emanating from the characters, are the details that call more attention when we see this drawing.

Stunning piece. I especially love the way the picture has been colored. It gives off this more realistic feel the piece, giving it an even greater impact than what it already has. The mood of the picture quite clear and I can feel the angst coming from it. The placement is very well done for the most part. The only thing that bothers me are the hands that are reaching behind Sasuke. To me it almost feels as if they were there just for placement value. Though, I'm sure there is a reason why they are behind him. However, it doesn't take away from the picture, I just feel that the piece would be okay without it too.
Another thing I really love the piece is that concept you had behind this, was executed well. Sasuke waiting for the rising sun and such, with his open arms and that expression of waiting on his face.
I'm not an entirely a big fan on the opacity at the end of Sasuke. I feel it's too much, and maybe you could have upped it a little more just enough where you can still see Madara himself too. Since Sasuke is supposed to be the main point of the picture. These are all just little things that might make the picture even better, or just something to try out and see what works best.

Thank you for your opinion and advice. I'll pay more attention next time not to take the focus away from the main point of the drawing. It's a common mistake I tend to make.

I honestly hate how people think Sasuke broods too much, but...he kind of has a reason to be all angsty and broody. This captures his despair very well and it's beauty is very eye capturing as well. You honestly have some of the best emotional art here on DA.

Sasuke's reaction is actually pretty normal. Come to think of it, he is actually strong, just because he is still somewhat sane. A real person would kill himself in the same situation. He is not an emo, really.. he is more like a psycho...
