I'll tell you Ken I'm glad I bought a print of this painting. It is framed and hanging in my bedroom. Where It's Art did the framing work and the put the borders 9564 Purple Mountain and 9923 Blue Night in Crossfield, Alberta. They installed the frame with Roma cd9 22551098 burlwood "Midnight Blue" in Montreal. It wasn' cheap but I'm glad I did it. One thing I do want to ask you, who was your model?

I will try to remember her name...can't at the moment, tho. She was a beautiful girl, in a very retro sort of way, which is why she worked so well for this piece...glad you like it!

I myself think she should've been a red head, rather than a blonde. But that's because I'm biased.
This one is too cute!

Well, the model was sort of a redhead, which I love, but blonde just worked better on that dark background

Lovely! Has all that retro feeling... like Jetsons or Buck Rogers... I love how her hair is falling on the glass.
The more I see this the more I want to favourite it. I think I will. And I don't do that much often!

You know, I had antenna on the drawing, but when I painted it, I figured it didn't need it...maybe I was wrong!

i don't know. it's just that the moment i saw this one as a thumbnail i automatically thought it'd have antenna. but the painting looks great with/without them.

I like it, the bubble helmet and retro clothing is reminiscent of really old Sci-fi flicks. Great Job!

thanks, moon!
Basically, I started up in the corner with whatever color is there, adding colors as I went, adding water when I wanted to, etc...I did, tho, mask off the worlds and her bubble helmet...her body I was just careful around.

Ken, your watercolor work never looks like watercolor, the colors are so vibrant!
And hey, do you know how much long hair can tickle at the face, if you cant touch yourself? *LOL*
And I am amazed by the background!

Guess, you never had real LONG hair - otherwise you would have known it...
