Description
The Futurama Comic Book issue #57 did a story about a steam punk version of the crew. For once it was a good story, and also for once it was drawn really well.
Amazing...
P.S. I did have some trouble on the layout for this one:

P.S. Did you catch the Groening-style overbite on the whistles?

Oh yea, I did. But now I realise that the gauges are behind the pilot seat...sort of ironic.

Is, isn't it? Originally I was going to have the entire back covered in gauges, pipes, switches, all kinds of stuff. But the drawing would have been way too cluttered.

Oh, and forgot to blather...the red on the seat is so yummy and looks like real leather.

There is something really wonderful happening as Leela looks down at the lever...almost as if Farnsworth is rambling on and she's thinking, "what did I get myself into?" The implied conversation is almost better than if you had put dialogue into it. BTW, I need to nail that comic book!

I do like having them being active, doing something, anything. It's much more interesting than having them just standing there.

It reminded me of the story of when George Lucas first showed Harrison Ford the set of the Millenium Falcon...Harrison asked him, "Well, how does it work?" George didn't know what to tell him.
