Description
In the original smurfs comic (created by Peyo), the handy smurf (le schtroumpf bricoleur in the OV) builds a plane, a bread factory, a weather machine, artificial intelligence and robots, and all with MEDIEVAL SCIENCE! doesn't it blows your mind? this little blue guy deserves respect!(and now for some spoils, be warned)
Now, in one of the recent comics the robots he builds drink magic potions leftovers, wich raises their level of consciousness, they soon overtrow the smurfs and become the new leaders until they get eaten by termites.
(end of spoilers)
That qualifies them as beings of TECHNO MAGIC! so in near future, they might be able to master tecnomagic and attack Gargamel with magiteks? that would be awesome! (or stupid)
So here's my version of a smurfian magitek. Try saying that out loud without a grin.

Squish Gargamel! Squish him!
then cut him open and make his intestines fly across the room and go splat on the wall and mash up his lungs and make him bleed everywhere and stick him in a blender and throw the goo at passers by
I'm a little bit gross XD

The movie seems to have quite some gross-out humor, mind you.
But somehow I refuse to see it. I grew up with the awesome comics, barely watched the (a lot more shallow) TV show and am now scared by the hideous CG they have undergone.

they look like creepy perversion of themselves that made me scream when I saw the trailer. (also, why in moderd day New York? The comics took place in medieval Europe! If they reeeeeally want to do modern day why not in bloody Europe?)

Germany. I'd love to see that happening in Germany. They could have used schloss Neuschwanstein.

Considering Gargamel often built himself "copies" of smurfian creations in the comic (heck, when the smurfs created a plane, he made one too!) I'd say the chances he creates Megatron are quite high.
...
Now THAT would be awesome....
(man, I think I drank to much tee)

Yea, but the smurfs always win !^^
In that case, the first how make a Megatron is the winner !

First you need some metal part, and then... Oh, just use alchemy on a megatron action figure. I bet that would be the way Gargamel would do it.
Gargamel is like the first mad scientist. He is awesome. He creates bombs that explodes underwater, a female smurf, an evil smurf-bot... Man! He IS really a genius!
