History

[Birth]
Kriti's parents were un-expected lovers. Her mother, was apart of the Olde herd, but didn't believe in their strict religion. Her Father, was a loner. The two had an immediate attraction. They both agreed the Olde Herd was not a herd they could live with. So, when the land bridge opened, they ran off together to the southern Isle. Soon after they birthed a filly, Kriti.

Kriti was born to strict parents who knew, without safety of a herd, she was an easy target. Kriti wasn't aloud to play with other creatures, she had other more important things to do. Like learn to defend herself and fight. Her mother was her Defense teacher and her father was her Attack teacher.

[Child - Teenager]

Kriti had a strict, daily schedule of defense and attack lessons. Her father showed little mercy during their sparing practice. Whenever Kriti came to her mother, crying and needing some love, her mother would tell her "My daughter is not a weakling! Weakness will kill you!"

This made Kriti cold. She never really knew what love was. During this time, her parents had found the Exile herd and slowly worked their way into the herds ranks. Kriti had never seen equine her own age. Socialization was a foreign language to her. Anyone considered to weak to be her friend wouldn't even get a glance from Kriti. She couldn't allow herself to associate with "weaklings" for fear that they would in-turn make her weak.

With the kind of parents Kriti had anyone would think their death would have little to no effect on her. Sure, this is what she showed on the outside, but on the inside, Kriti was a dis-functioning yearling again, with silent tears never shed in front of others.

As un-affectionate as her parents were, she still loved them for protecting her, teaching her to survive, providing her with a herd and a sense of a home. After the recent fires that charred The Exile Herds homeland, Kriti had decided to leave the heard, feeling like the one home she knew was never to return. Yet, she decided it was better to stay with the herd, the only sense of family she has left. Kriti's depression over her parents death has been kept in secret. Whenever asked, Kriti would give a cold-hearted response stating that they "never really loved her anyway" and then follow it up with complete refusal to talk about the situation further.

[Young Adult]
As Kriti grew, she became more depressed and more anti-social. In Kriti's mind, if she got to close to anyone, and they were to die, she would become weak with grief. Even with the herds protection, she still felt she couldn't afford it. The loss of her parents still had a strong pull on her thoughts.

After the fires, Kriti started having strange hallucinations of her parents. The stress and feeling of loss for her one, true home has taken its toll on Kriti already unstable mind. Now, she is a ticking time-bomb.

Kriti isn't all arrogance and sarcastic nature. Deep down beneath her cold exterior, is a live, warm beating heart just aching to be free. With the right amount of patience, persistence, and respect, someone could break down her wall and win over the rare item residing inside, her heart.
