Description
This was the best movie I had ever watched: absolutely breathtaking animation, beautiful characters, amazing storyline and the FEELS!In the final scene, when Taki and Mistuha looked at each other and asked "君の名は?" and the scene ended, I ended up staring at the blank screen, wishing for something more to happen than that cliffhanger.
So readying up, I decided to create this art and I used every single brush (almost), tools at my disposal, trying my best for this piece, as well as listening to Kimi No Na Wa's OST. Favourite is Kataware Doki! Unfortunately, my laptop broke down while I was in the middle of it and had to redo it....RIP
Had a lot of fun overall doing this piece. I love doing the landscape, once again, my comfort style in doing these kind of things xD ...but I just suck at painting clouds

I think your clouds look just fine! (though maybe some of them could be done with a softer brush on lower opacity? Like if you're working in Photoshop using a really soft airbrush and turning up the spacing. makes it easier to do those really wispy clouds)

Thanks for the advice! I tried using soft brushes, but it made it look too hazy and very unpolished xD. Maybe it's just that I don't understand cloud's general structure itself

Nice compositing on this piece! I've got to say that in my opinion Kimi No Na Wa has changed the game for anime. Makoto Shinkai really did something great for film. I know it isn't the first time he's done it and it won't be his last!

Thanks! Yes, I have to agree, after watching all of his other films, each one of them is as beautiful as the last.
