Stunning shot, a great example depicting both humanity's struggle against nature, and humanity's desire to understand what lies on the other side, be it the beginning of a higher plane of existence, or the end of life in any form. I like how the reduced colour palette of blue transitioning to off-white gives a feel of eeriness to the wilderness, whilst the camera angle and use of contrast places the human subject as the centre of focus. Excellent work
