...or rather, My first AND ONLY MSD. I've been working on this image since May. Do you have any idea how long ago that was? Yeah, me too. I ABSOLUTELY HATE this image. It serves no purpose, it doesn't look spectacularly beautiful and....Sod it. This has been the result not of love, but of endurance. I'm proud of myself for simply finishing it.

Yeah, I've always quite liked the Daedelus - imagined it as an old sub in the Romulan War. Stripped out, basic, creaking like mad but tough as nails and lasts forever. I was going to say we'll never see it again but I suppose there's the chance the next movie will have a homage.
Thanks for the comments though. I think the image is okay - I just hated doing it.
So I started doing another two years later and another this year as well. Hate those too.

maybe you should just stick with what you actually like doing?
ppl tell me I should draw professionally. my answer is I don't want to make my hobby my job. I also don't want to produce someone else's vision. my art is for an audience of one -- me.

Well good work on finishing! On top of that, its actually pretty good. Whats that on deck five, a movie theater?

I think it was supposedly a briefing room of sorts, probably because it took up more room than more quarters. Movie theatre works, though. I've been tempted of late to finish the Olympic one I started a few years back as well, complete with hamster wheel et al, but I don't think I have the time.
