Soon, it's going to be yet another regular day. Birds will sing...cats will meow...dogs will bark...geese will honk and steal peoples stuff.
A typical, simple, regular day.
However, there is a small, tiny, exception. The exception is for you, for that is the time when lightning was thrown from above by Zeus to herald your appearance. Cast in the molten fires of Mount Olympus, and granted with a great creative power, you have been released upon the world to conquer it in whatever manner you see fit! For it has been foretold by those who can see the future that you are great and true, and that it is your time to shout your joy to the heavens, and revel in the knowledge that on that day, it is written for you to have a Happy Birthday, with many more to come to increase your power and complete your creative conquest!
Also there's hand made cake and ice cream from down the street. Those folks make some mighty fine cake indeed. Yum!

In a few days, it is going to be a relatively normal day...for most. But not for you. For on that day...it will be a good day to revel in the moment that you were cast down upon this Earth, summoned and placed here by the mighty Odin to share your talents and your creativity with all. Hello there.
Before you decline the Sleeping Beauty one let me tell you just one thing, please.
I thought about the concept and chose to do a reversed prince / princess situation cause I found it interesting and unconventional.
I retextured Jane's whole armor.
I posed them until their body language was really as it should be in my opinion. I played with paragon and renegade via colors and their respective icons which are barely visible. I let the two main characters meet which was appreciated EVEN by Mark Meer and Jennifer Hale on my first picture featuring them (which wasn't as detailed at all!).
There is post edit with the use of many, many layers, color adjustment and what ever else. You have eyes, you see the frame of transparent roses. It's been a long way to the finished artwork and I hope you do not crash me again like you did before. It's just not fair, nor social.

First, thanks for the submissions. You might consider though, that if you have to explain a piece to someone, it's missed the mark.
The goal of the group is to share the very best ME artwork on dA. Naturally, that's subjective but we've made no secret of our intentions and we turn away many more submissions than we accept, even from artists that we've already featured. I've done loads of ME pieces which don't feature, because they're not up to the high standards we've set.
It's unfortunate you've taken our previous decisions badly, but it IS fair, and it's not a social group. It's an art one. There are a number of ME groups here with differing niches; ours is high quality. None of it is personal, nor for that matter, are we swayed by any character/romance agenda.
Speaking personally, this is the best piece of yours that's been submitted, but I still don't think it matches up to the quality of the galleries we've featured and frankly, I don't like the tone of the above message. If the piece was good enough, it'd get in absent a whiny message about why it should get in. Namedropping and pointing out a brush layer with dropped opacity as if it's something special is immature. The piece only has 15-odd favs for a reason.
I've been rejected from a number of groups; it's not an insult but an inspiration to do better. Suck it up and come back with something that blows people away. As a suggestion, work on backgrounds, because their absence in a lot of your work leads to flatness, or an impression of incompleteness. Don't whine and expect the world to agree with you just because you think a piece you did is pretty. Stick at it, you'll improve and the respect will come when it's due.

Hah, thanks. Someone suggested he was trolling rather than a believer but either way better to get out of there sharpish lest I be sucked in further. I've disagreed vehemently with many a person online over the years, but I suppose I've been lucky because personal attacks have been kept to a minimum. It's not that I find such comments offensive; just useless and there's only so many hours in the day.
