trying to get away with leaving things. Next time I will try to melt the character a bit more into the background and see how that goes. there could also be some more variation in the foreground details.
The character is Captain Katzenguti, a redesign of an old one I created in 2011, but its quite inspired by Edward Sissorhands, Robofish and a Big Sister as you might see.. It actually started as a small bedtime-sketch and was not supposed to become a rendered piece but I just could not sleep so i drew the tighter lines and the next night I did the colors.
