Description Ok, this one was a monumental task. Took almost 15 hours to complete with at least 6 layers of color. Newest addition to my 'Concept Creature' series.

Ultra-fine Sharpies and Fine Sharpie Pen on plain 8.5 x 11 paper. NO PRE-SKETCH in pencil.

There's a wonderful illusion of movement in this piece. My eyes are drawn to the swirling dismembodied tentacle above the eye, it's awesome! Beautiful work!

Thanks so much for the awesome feedback! I have two 'obsessions', skulls and tentacles, so I have a blast drawing them. I'm glad you got the effect of movement from this piece, it was tough to do. Really appreciate all the faves as well!

Yeah, it's very anti-typical of me to leave white space on my pieces. I'm glad you like it, since it is a deviation from my norm. Just wanted to see how it would look and I liked the result as well.

Once again the Mistress of da Sharpie does not disappoint! Really amazing design with incredible detail. Totally love the different combinations of color used for shading. Really adds a unique dimension! I just want to yell, "unleash the kraken!"or perhaps "beware the one eyed monster!"
