This is a great picture and great artwork. However, when I think of Venom, I don't think of him like this. If I had to give him some sort of ratio of human vs monster I would say Venom, in my eyes is 80% human and 20% monster. With this ratio, I can actually relate to the Venom character, because he is at least part human. In your version, he is just a pure monster (100% monster and 0% human). There is no way in any shape or form that a real human could be under the suit and thus I don't care or have as much emotion for the character anymore.
Anyway, I'm just giving my personal opinion and feedback.
