Description One of my last assignments for my Photoshop class.  We were supposed to find an image and use the mixer brush to turn it a painting.  I, of course, chose something very ambitious and complicated.  I had to download brushes from fellow Deviant artists to complete it... and I STILL can't remember exactly which brushes it was that I used. I've got to go back through and find them so I can give the proper credit to the creators as they asked.  I got so focused on getting done...it was crunch time.    Most of the picture is the regular mixer brush option that came with Photoshop but the trees WAAAAY in the background were downloaded, and the plants in the foreground were downloaded brushes. The foreground does not quite look the way I wanted it too but I can still play around with it just to have fun.  All in all, I think this took well over 20 hours to complete.  Almost two hours a day, and in some cases a full eight hours.

Anxiety!!

I will provide an update soon with the info for the artists and the brushes they created.  I have to go back and find them.

This is very pretty! Is this based on an actual place?

I believe so, I'm just not sure where.  When we started the project we were given selections we could chose to paint, or we could chose some of our own pictures.  They just had to meet a size requirement if I remember right.  I didn't have anything I wanted to use at the time so I chose this from the images we were given.  It took me FOREVER and there were some times when stuff didn't want to work.  But I really like the end result.  The mixer brush can be fun to use.
