A portrait of a dragon's head. Created from scratch in Photoshop.*That is used as a cover of a reissue of the first novel of the Cormyr Saga trilogy (Forgotten Realms) - written by Ed Greenwood/Jeff Grubb.

That gal drew it in traditional media by using Deligaris work for reference, I don't think it counts as stealing? Woulda been nice to credit the author of the original work, though.Ā

Very well done, I love the horns and how his mouth seems to be glowing with heat. I can like *feel* how hot it would be to stand next to him. I also love the small, thorn like spikes protruding above and below his eye.

This is such a beautiful painting and one of my favorite dragon pieces on dA!
I found it had been used in a cheap Dragon/Fantasy picture book I saw in the childrens book department in KMart (badly cut'n'pasted on a crappy background- kind of insulting) and recognized it straight away along with several other edited pictures of dragons/creatures. I took a photo of it on my phone cam, but it's long gone now
