I love it, even if it is a bit dark. It'd make a great animation, moving the light slowly up as if you're raising a torch and having the dragon revealed. End with some flame gathering in the nostrils.

Giving this thing a closer look, it must have been a major pain in the ass to give it the kind of look that you have right here.
I mean, I want to do those 6 dragons of magic, but each time I sit down to sketch out each one, but I can't get it the way I want to.

drawing the dragon isnt hard.. painting the dragon is long and tideous but doing the DESIGN of a dragon is something else. Especially considering the pre-conceived notions of how dragons should be. I must have something like 15 sketches all morphing slowly in the current dragon.

YEah, especially in this case since I"m designing several dragons, each one unique to a different area. Such as there's a sea dragon, a land dragon, and a dragon machine.

When I had the design idea for my own Dragon Machina, I thought about staying away from the Dragon engine.
So, what I had in mind for the Dragon Machina is something more.....clockwork. Like a dragon made out of gears, wires, and such, but tried to be covered with peices of cloth, and all that.
