First off, thanks to everyone who attended this week's series of picarto streams! Was a blast!I've been asked frequently to draw my main characters more. I decided that during Spring Break, it was time to draw them all! This is the Syron Universe Legacy, which includes all of the up-to-date versions of the primary and secondary characters of Syron the Fox's story arc. The shading style is a bit different from my normal work, but was a bit of an experiment to try something lighter than usual, and emphasize designs over the dynamic shading. (yes, its inspired by the MMZ art style).
Here are the characters from left to right:

Megalo Artillery Unit "Gauss"

Kaius Grey (top)
Syron Grey (bottom)
Cassira Solarov
Mathis Crowe
For clarification, the space station in the upper right is the Pasiphae Colony which Cassira hails from, which features a 'push' reactor, allowing the inner surface of the geode sphere to be colonized and built upon.
Premium download features the massive full sized file (5000px) and I actually managed to kill SAI with a memory overload. Go figure.
I hope you guys enjoy. I rarely draw my own characters, so this is pretty special to me. Crazy to see the comparison to when I drew them all last in the same image (3-4 years ago).

Sorry, but this was the deviation I thought I was critiquing, I am really sorry for the inconvenience and I did not know that this does not have a critique, here is my critique anyway.
OK, so first of all, I like the background, it's, sorta, Fantastic Mr Fox/Ridge Racerish, which I like, it reminds me of traditional Metal Gear Star Wars Style posters, and the colours work well, if slightly wierd because it combined the palette of mr fox with the colourfulness of Virtual on.
Finally, some of the characters don't just remind me of VO, they also remind me of Solatorobo, which I need to play, not to mention some sonic like aspects there and there, you are the exact reason I'm going to get Dynasty Warriors gundam in the future, and play Virtual-On again, I love your artwork.
Anyways, good picture.

Technique: 9/10, because you are really good at making beautiful pictures and they always remind me of Franchises that would blow your mind up if you realized.
Impact: 8/10, because this picture really stuns me, the Ridge Racer-esque bright colours and the Fantastic Mr Fox-esque autumn background always stuns me.

You want to darken the area where Mathis is, and around the area on the back of Cassira's hair, to help enhance the lighting and draw attention to the more important bits of the picture.
Optionally, give the characters a bit of a color wash that matches the skies on the left side of the picture to help give their colors a more organic feel as well as enhance their depth on the picture.
Regardless of these suggestions, you've come a long way from way back then. You did an excellent job on this illustration!

This picture you've done featuring these anthro characters looks very nice for sure, and it totally reminds me of something from the underrated Nintendo DS game "Solatorobo: Red The Hunter" as well.

Now I know this is experimental, but I have to say Kaius' design was more..."menacing" back in your short animation. Here he seems a lot lighter is his tone. Same for Crowe, back in the pictures and comic, his appearance was more dark and ominous with a overall design being better.
But this is my wo cents and I know this is meant to be a experimental approach. Everything else is great and really brings me back to the nights psent reading over Sonic the Hedgehog comics!
