Description
Once upon a time, when I was creating business cards for my Digital Renaissance website, I decided that I should prove I can do more than take photos. I was moving my personal concentration from graphic design to photography, but design was still what paid the bills. I whipped up this quick sun to add a drawing to what was otherwise a strictly-photo layout for my card. (Click on the link above if you're curious. The splash page for the website is identical to the front of my business card. I liked it so much that I remodeled the site around it.)The sun was originally drawn in Illustrator 9. (Yes, it's been a while.) I'm submitting this now because (a) I'm bored, and (b) I don't have any new photos at the moment. Also (c) the Scorpio tattoo I just submitted got me to playing with Illustrator again, so I'm looking at my old art for inspiration.

Thanks, Carli. I must say that I think you're more skilled by far. I can't draw people - only shapes. Even then, it's far better on the computer where I can redraw a line 30 times until it looks right without leaving eraser burns all over the page. I just don't show people the dozens of crappy revisions that precede the final product. *grin*
