I had to grab a screenshot to document this. Yahoo! News has a wonderful, very Byzantine-looking photo of President Obama. I clicked on the image because of its iconic nature (in the religious sense) because one of my right-leaning co-workers often comments on the deification of Barack Obama in the mainstream media. It's a source of good-natured contention between us.

The unfortunate side effect: Today's most-emailed photo is a swollen babboon backside, which President Obama appears to be perusing with rapt attention.

I claim no copyright for anything, of course. Obama's photo was taken by Pablo Martinez Monsivais and distributed by the AP. The babboon (or rather, Celebes Crested Macaque) photo was taken by Wong Maye-E.
