Serpent is a kind of a snake, right? And i spotted that this creature presented on Your piece of art has scratches, therefore i cannot think a serpent is a snake, right? Or maybe it is a special serpent with scratches?
All in all, I think it is classically dangerous and epically awesome art although a little scary :'')
But i am a softie for fantastic themes and even if a movie or art is scary i still try my best to support the concept, etc.
In my final words I would like to congratulate You, author, for having such amazing idea!!!
I found it just now, on the main DA passage but I think i might want look into Your gallery to see what drawing style You're major in. I hope You are okay with it.

It is simply the name of this dragon. You understand). Not a type of some creature. Like the Seahorse, which is a fish, not a horse. Batman is just a man in a ridiculous suit, not a bat.
The name corresponds to the characteristic. This dragon is very long, like a serpent. It was in the terms of reference.

Of course, you can give to dragons just serial numbers). No any misunderstanding and confusion, but it not so elegant).
