while wandering the streets of paris, i came across this group of kittens playing with eachother. just around the corner was the man who they belonged to, along with a dozen other animals all hanging around him. i should have taken a picture of that, but i wasn't up for the challenge.paris, france

awesome shot! maybe the fact that the cat on the left is a bit wierd due to his mouvment is a bit annoying... but the composition with that awesome backround (with all those people, and some are watching you) and the "bar" (I don't how you call them in english) wich is not straight is verry good!

I adore this. I actually like that you see the cats as part of the street life, as it's so unexpected.. It's a shame on the cat's faces is blury, but keeping three cats still is impossible.
It's a dream of mine to get my cats to walk the streets, but sadly they just won't be in it.

thanks a lot... yes, the one blurred cat is a bit of a shame, but i do like the way it worked out with only one of the three noticing me. i shot off a half dozen takes, and this was easily the best one... i'm wondering if i should've used a tad faster shutter speed and a higher ISO to compensate. oh well!

see, that's one of the things i love most about the shot!! there were so many people in the background watching me and watching all the animals... so you can see them all peering over in my direction.

great shot! aww.... i love cats... i like the focus on that cats, that one cats face could have been more in focus but its understandable, but overall, its a really great shot, so i shall add it as a

thanks, i've always enjoyed the way (well-done) pinhole photographs work. because of this i find myself imitating the look all too often. i guess i did a little here too!
if interested, i just uploaded another shot ( circa 2005 ) that takes the look way furter. maybe even too far
