I've been trying for a little while now. (I taught my self digital lol) but something about oils makes me feel stupid lol. But I think I'm slowly getting the hang of it. I did a picture for my mom of her and I in it and I think I failed. XD

do lots of experimenting....studies, etc. don't try to make a finished piece until you have a feel for it. also, a good book on oil technique is "how to paint like the old masters" by sheppard.
