Description
This little kitty belongs to my grandparents. I can't remember her name, all I remember is that she was about to be desexed, which is perhaps why she looks so sad.As an update, her name is Zoe, in case you wanted to know.

I love how she has so much emotion on her face, even if it is over such a sad occasion. Animals seem to be so keen to what's going on around them
Her eyes are so soulful. This almost looks like it could be a painting. Did you use a photo filter on it at all?

True! they can have such interesting personality and emotional changes.
I think at the time I edited the levels and contrast slightly. But since the shot was through a window, it has a few smudges like the one just near her left eye.
Thanks for the feedback!

Dogs are also very expressive I've come to find out
Ah, so the level adjustment must be what's causing the effect, maybe? At least it might have brought out some of the more subtle touches more. Whatever it is, the blending of techniques does great things for the outcome of the image
And it's my pleasure~!

True! It's a shame, but I don't get to photograph many (if at all any) dogs. Ducks, though, I get quite a lot of photos of.
Oh thank you!

Lol. Yeah, she's adorable, though. I wouldn't mind if there were more. Mind you, it's not like I'd have to look after the kitties.

LOL. I have had to go through the living with an intact cat thing. It is not pleasant for anyone. However, if it was someone else's problem I would love little kitties running around.
She is very adorable.

Yeah, my friend Angela has multiple cats and kittens. They get pregnant every now and then. She doesn't really seem to mind... I keep on meaning to go 'round to her place and photograph her menagerie of animals, but I never get around to it.

Cats in heat are crazy. It sounds like she has some space which wouldn't make it so bad.

Wow, you captured her sweet expression, brilliantly. She does look a little sad, but she's darling.

Aww, thanks. She was such an adorable kitty.
I wish she were mine! I'll get to see her again in a few months, though, hopefully.

Me too! Cats are awesome.
Our original cat was desexed long before I was born, then our current cat Goldie was desexed just after we got her. My parents didn't want to take any chances. Lol.
I have a friend who owns cats that aren't desexed, though. In the time I've known her, two of her cats have had at least four litters and another is currently pregnant.
