I road that train. We got off in Denali and explored the park for a few days.

Only had one day for Denali Park - beautiful scenery.

The ride between Anchorage and Denali Park was most scenic.Β North from their to Fairbanks turned to more flat tundra, but still untouched beauty (except for the railroad!).

Just happened to notice the reflection off of the passenger car as I was standing out on the open air car.Β It wasΒ a sight to see the reflections developing as the train moved along.

Fantastic idea. I would like to try that but unfortunately trains in Poland aren't Β that clean.

There were a lot of mountains and a beautiful sunny day.Β The temperature was about 70 degrees,Β with theΒ air moving by quickly as the train passed through.Β Β Had time to look around while standing out on the open air car,Β and the reflection of the scenery off the passenger car caught my eye.Β There were a lot of folks enjoying the view, and fortunately there was plenty of room for everyone.

This is an example of a picture that I had not planned for or thought of ahead of time, but rather just saw this scene as it was unfolding and managed to capture it.
