Description
I've desired for a Spock portrait long ago, and now the time has come. This is the first occasion when I use a tool other than plain graphite pencils. I've never tried color drawing before at all. I was afraid of it, but this portrait turned out better than I thought.-----
Tools:
Pastel chalks (from LIDL
-----
Scene:
Captain Kirk disappears while trying to rescue the USS Defiant. Spock must accept the fact that his friend is no longer alive.
Episode 3x09, The Tholian Web

This is so so beautiful~ That pain, so deep, that he makes efforts to hide but that however shows in his eyes, in his clenched jaw.
It's so Spock. I love the colouring. These effects on the spacesuit.
It so much looks like a painting, it's amazing~

Very well done--and perhaps the makeup artists should've taken a cue from this in portraying the green-blooded species on the various Trek series.

I have the same problem with Spock's skin. He should have been much more green than they make him up Plus if he has green blood, his mouth, palate, nail bed etc. should have been green shaded too. But I'm afraid in this case he hasn't been sex symbol

Yeah, pastel chalks. It was more difficult to draw with it than I thought previously.
