Description Okay I just had to speedpaint SOMETHING because my head explodes with the piece I'm doing now. I don't know this will be in the final year exhibition but at least I like it for now.

2,5hrs pscs2.

I could never ever be somewhere that high without screaming like a girl in panic non-stop because of my fear of high places. Still I keep seeing dreams with cliffs and mountains like this one. They're my favourite dreams.

I used mostly only one brush in the natural media brushes that comes with every photoshop version.

Hope you won't fall off

Edit: This piece is finished so no point asking me to kill the painty feel from it. There will be detailed and boring pieces in the future so don't worry.

There's a print shop button right next to the image. I just wrote a long description on my technique for paintings like these on the comments section of my newest piece "Daze" HTH.Β

This is absolutely stunning. I love the painterly effect that you have going on here. You are very talented and expressive in your strokes, I can almost sense the surface quality despite the fact it is a digital painting.

Bravo

I also have these pieces that i cant get out of my head, so i have to paint em to get rid of them. Its those pieces that often turn out to be the most relaxing to paint.

I find this interesting and beatiful ... it actually reminds me of a part of a halo 2 mission, where you have to descend cliffs surrounded by snipers - its a really beatiful part of the halo series really

hard to believe this is "speedpainted".

it's very creative and amazing to paint scenes from your dreams. i know that amazing, wondrous feeling; i dream of people and rarely of scenes, so i draw them too.

another scene that looks like from the games "jak and daxter" or "final fantasy x/x-2" and again, "shadow of hte colossus"...

the whole mood of heights here is appealing. i once went to the Pyrnees Mountains, but now that i've seen this painting, i find your painting more appealing than the neon-greeness the Pyrnees gave me. there looks like a lot of peace, freedom, and beauty in this picture. it offers so much to the eyes of the viewer. i want to climb and walk everything in this picture.

Perhaps your very fear of high places is why they keep appearing in your dreams. I'm the same: my dreamscapes are never flatlands and I shake like a beached salmon if you place me more than 10ft off the ground. Anyway, to the piece and this is another awesome composition: the painterly feel keeps it seeming like it is from a dream or a memory. Overly-refined digital paintings sometimes seem a little flat, to me. I prefer the spontaneous nature of these speed-paints, it gives them more life and something this green needs that.
