The idea for this is so fascinating. I love it!
And it's really impressive how you convey so much meaning in such a simple sketch. But their body language is so poignant it already tells the story. If you ever decide to make it into a full fledged painting I'll welcome that but as it is the pic can stand on its own as well.

glad I could convey something by just a sketch... really envy comic / manga artists...
Not sure when, or even if this will ever be a full fledged painting... so many references, which are just aren't there....., time too.... Ā

so simple yet so beautiful, I love how it shows moments so important in the story, and so different from each other

I'm thinking how to convert this into a real painting without loosing the subtext...Ā

Great comparison, if that's what this is. Two very different woman under very different circumstances, but still sharing a moment in the rain. Lol

it's beautiful for a sketch, each line really is right on spot and it makes the whole thing dreamy... like a memory. Great job!

Aah! So great to see new works from you! Are you going to make it a full-scale drawing?

Thank you, dear
I have no idea... there are too many references I would need if I want to do realistically the way I usually do... and then there's the nightmare of edits after that to make sure the details don't overwhelm the story... hehe.. I'm obsessive.. what can I do..

I know this feeling. It's probably why I have troubles finishing digital works )
But I'd like to see this work not only as a sketch, it's beautiful and have great concept. Maybe you can make a misty background to avoid drawing extra details. It would be totally fine for rainy scenery.

I think the sketchy nature of the piece somehow adds to its depth. I love this.

so someone said to me... that's why mangas are so popular.. realistic details do tend to detract from the messages...
thank you so much

Absolutly, i can tell the emotion and the mood of the piece even if it is sketchy and i just really like the atmosphere you created

That's so true ... its the emotions that matter... that's why manga style is so popular
