So, here's Celestia! Hope you like it.
Oh, 2 things I would like to ask, and please be as honest as possible. It would help me a lot in the future.
Does this style suits Celestia's Mane?
I know the original mane is all wavy and sorta mystic looking, so I'm not entirely sure if the current 'hairy' style would suit her.
EDIT: Added stars to look more ethereal, as some had suggested. Other than that, nothing has changed.
Do you want me to combine, both the Luna and this Celestia portrait together, into a wallpaper standard?

I think her mane looks fine. I would like to see Princess Luna and Celestia in a portrait together for a wallpaper.

No, to aswer honestly your question I don't think this mane style suit her well, but on the other hand I confess her mane is really difficult to draw.

I really do like the hair, overall the portrait makes Celestia seem less like the stoic leader with hefty responsibilities and much more like a younger princess who enjoys the work and service she puts in for her kingdom, makes me think of what she looked like when she had a closer bond with her sister before she had to banish her when they were both young. Gives me that unfortunate vibe that she never say it coming while her portrait was being made.
Sorry, I just finished writing a timeline short story just over an hour ago!

Wind in her mane looks terrific, of course. 
Maybe this is also when she switches which side of her face will be covered. Otherwise she risks lazy eye, and we don't want that especially with her beautiful eyes.

I just did a fix on it and the colour somehow became more vivid. Didn't realize it has an impact on my photoshop colour management settings as well.

this is the first time I've ever seen anyone depict Princess Celestia's mane as actual hair (at least that I can remember.)

I just put this and the old one side-by-side, there's a huge difference.
All the shading is different, her wing has moved lower too, also the mane looks more detailed.
Not that this is bad, just pointing it out, there are heaps of changes.
