Description
"Spiders that use a form of camouflage to blend in with the plants around them are hardly unusual. 20-foot-tall spiders that do the same thing, however, are a Skull Island oddity. The Mother Longlegs is a massive arachnid with an exceptionally bizarre method of hunting: its lower legs resemble the stalks of a bamboo forest so thoroughly that anything less than ten feet tall would be hard-pressed to tell the difference. It uses the knife-sharp tips of its legs to impale prey, and then things get truly bizarre when it opens up its abdomen, sending slippery coils of intestine down to wrap around anything bleeding and pull them directly into its stomach. Fortunately, large amounts of automatic weaponry are enough to kill it. It also possesses a small pair of needle-sharp pincers, but these are generally used to fend off competition of a similar size. Despite these, Mother Longlegs are woefully under-equipped for dealing with anything around their own size, and their range is restricted to the bamboo forests in the southeast."Reality check: this is the giant spider from "Kong: Skull Island". I do not own the rights, etc, etc...

You did a great job on this piece. Even when I first glanced it over I knew exactly what it was. You did a great job of making it look iconic!
