Description
My redesign of Skulker from Danny Phantom.For his new history, in life he was Skott Pulker and he went to college with Jack, Maddie, and Vlad and participated in their Ecto-Scientific research. When Jack and Maddie went into the ghost hunting business, they offered Skott a job to work with them since he was such a great hunter in the wilderness. During one of their cases, the trio encountered a horde of animal ghosts at an abandoned mansion. Skott split up from Jack and Maddie to capture a werewolf ghost among all the other animals. Skott and Wulf fought each other til they both fell through a third story wall all the way to outside ground below. Wulf being a ghost was fine after the fall but Skott wasn't so lucky. He died and became a hunter-type ghost. These specters hunt down selected humans as well as their own kind when they are given The Mark of Prey, a glowing scratch that signifies you will be hunted by a predator ghost til death or in a ghost's case, their oblivion.
For Skulker's new look I decided to give him a less hi-tech look and make him look more hunter like. I took inspiration from Predator, Agorians from Ratchet and Clank: ACIT, and Ultimate Taskmaster. His new arsenal comes with retractable ecto-blades, compact spectre spears, and net spheres.

I think it would be cool if Skulker had "The Mark of Prey" underneath his clothing. This would explain why he hunts alone, why he hunts in the human world, and why he's thought of as a heartless hunter, because someone in his afterlife marked him so that other hunting ghosts would try to track him down. An event that happened that would make him forever question who he could trust.

I do like the idea of the Mark of Prey being on Skulker, maybe on his heart. Not sure on the aspect of Skulker getting hunted down because that might change a big reason as why he's a hunter ghost. I'd like to think that he's got little to no control over how he marks people and in cases of extreme anger, he'll mark a person or ghost he doesn't mean to and he'll be compelled to destroy a person or ghost he never wanted to. So that's why everyone stays away from Skulker, for fear of being marked for something small like annoying him.

That is a very interesting idea, but what if it was a combination of them both. He has the Mark of Prey, but is also trigger happy about putting the Mark of Prey on others. Maybe he was kicked out of a ghostly hunters clan in the ghost zone because of his short temper, being angry with himself he applied the Mark of Prey to himself. This would allow for character development ideas, as well as explain why he hunts alone. If any hunter ghosts come after him because they sense the mark, he captures/kills (if you can even kill ghosts) them as a sign of revenge.

I know it's been a long time since I've added to this but I actually forgot about it until now. But also looking back over the design I thought of something else. What if the skull he wears is the skull from his corpse or the first person/ghost he killed. Sorry if this seems out of nowhere, I just decided to look through your previous artworks.

And that's why I'm giving her character a massive overhaul for this, but her old self kinda sneaks back up during this confrontation with Skulker.

Ok well this version of Sam I'm pitching comes from a new timeline created by a fight between Danny and Dark Dan Phantom that goes through different points in time thanks to Clockwork's time watches being stolen and the Dans altering some moments in history changing the present as Danny knows it.
Sam in this timeline isn't inherently goth herself but has a great fascination with the goth subculture and likes to study the paranormal and supernatural, thanks to her grandmother and her vast library of books those subjects. Sam does wear a lot of black here but she mixes it up with different colors as well besides purple. Her activist personality is downplayed here in favor of peaceful protestor who uses graffiti art to make a statement. Also her bossy and sarcastic personality is gone and in it's place is one of a person who handles every kind of situation with a cool head and some subtle manipulation.
Also in this timeline, Danny and Sam aren't together, the time altering made it so they dated years earlier but it didn't work out so they broke up but remained friends. Danny is dating Valerie and Sam is dating Dash, who is a baseball player here and joins her on her masked graffiti protesting and defends her from others (like the cops) with his baseball bat.

Glad you think so. I was thinking of giving Dash a much different personality than what he had before. He's always been expected by his parents to be a perfect student and stellar baseball player but he started getting tired of the high expectations. All that changed when he met Sam and discovered her more rebellious side and he discovered his own after going vigilante and saving Sam from a violent security guard. So they teamed up for graffiti protesting with Sam as the Brains and Dash as the Muscle with his bat and roller blades for quick fighting and even quicker getaways.

Well it's her parents that she's protesting. They're more ruthlessly corporate in this timeline and are setting to make changes to the town that could benefit them, but not everyone else and could in fact make things a lot worse. Sam tried to protest before but her parents quickly silenced her, so now she uses a mask and graffiti to persuade people to stand against her own parents.

Nope, plus she's not vegan here, vegetarian maybe, but that's a personal choice of hers. She won't use her position to force a particular view on anyone, she'll call in favors from the people she's helped and that's the most she does.

I like that, it could show that while Danny, Sam, and Tucker are a trio of friends, they have groups of friends outside of the three of them that they interact with to almost the same amount of time.

That could work. I was actually going to do something new with her in the new timeline. It's discovered that she's a descendent of Desiree and Paulina being into such close proximity to Desiree is starting to leech off her Genie powers and gaining abilities without needing to become half ghost.

Maybe she thinks that she can better connect with ghost ancestor if she dresses just like her. This won't work of course but Danny and Tucker don't want to tell her that since this has been a fantasy of theirs for so long.
