Maybe you're right. But what reasons did Zamasu hate the mortal? Because, like Goku, they were dealing with gods. Against the natural order. People fought between themselves. Frieza is as mortal as it gets. But he created his own empire, his own order, he surrendered the god at least at the beginning. He must have shown them the right hook (apparently).
