I obviously don't know you, but I think this is a beautiful portrait. As drawn/painted, your face is lovely and full of character. I guess I'm trying to compliment you on both your actual appearance and artistic ability.

Nice. But I don't really understand the shadow on the lower hair. Seems way too strong in relation to the neck/shoulder shadow. So the connection "breaks" - at least for me

Thank you, the hard shadow falling on the hair is in truth that dark! I even brightened the colors up in this painging, compared to the look of original photo, to soften it up
