Finally finished! An art trade with Here I drew Rikki from H2O Mermaid adventures, a mermaid with power over fire despite being a mermaid that swims underwater XD.
Note : I'm not doing anymore art trade at the moment.

First I like to thank you all for taking an interest in my work! ^^Previously I don't have the time to open for commission because I got busy with work; however now I do have some free time to open my anime style commission. Emphasise on the "anime", if you have seen my gallery then you would see that I draw two styles, semi realistic and my so-called anime style

Why do mermaids always have scales? I mean, marine mammals (dolphins, whales, ect.) have skin, for all I know, and some creatures also have feathers...
Then again, a feathered mermaid might look strange.
However, it is pretty illogical for mermaids to not exist in some parallel universe, and who knows what they look like?

No, I didn't say that because I don't work for the Australian film industries. I'm saying that in Mako Mermaids, the characters referred to each others as "hatchlings" when they were born so the term itself is implied. All I'm saying is that depending on some people and their own perceptions and beliefs, merfolks can either be mammals or fish. And as for scales, it just makes merfolks appeared more elegant if not more logical.

Anyway, in one episode of Mermaid Adventures, where Rikki gets seen in the water by, I guess, Emma´s brother, Cleo´s boss states that it may be an unknown species of marine mammals.
