Description
One of MANY white pine studies, I have been creating. The California drought had been hard on the pine forest.
In the higher hills and mountains, many of the big Ponderosas, Sugar pines and cedars have died.
Here is a White Pine that is barely surviving, even after a very wet winter of 2017.

It reminds me of a Japanese woodblock print in an appealing way; also, it's nice to know that the state has had some rain again finally.

Oh yes.
Sometimes it does get boring.
I really have to look for the beauty in the area.
