I was asked if I could talk about creating mood in a painting. I'm definitely not pro at this but I will do my best
1. Determine the mood, in this case love and passion. 2. Your drawing should reflect the mood. So I drew the characters with a lot of soft curves. Calming lines. 3. I backlight the characters so their silhouette stands out. Most contrast is focused on their faces. 4. I paint the scene in pastel colors. Using a lot of red/purple, a passionate color. I repeat the curves of the characters in my bg brush work. Let me know if you found this helpful! #apaintingeveryday
