I recently received a tablet! So I've been drawing on tablet a bit more often so I can get used to it. It's very fun, but I can't deny that I prefer arting on traditional more.
I don't draw a lot of Arthur, do I? It's grotesque.

Ahh. Tablets can get some getting used to. For me, it took about a week or so! But they work wonders.
I recall seeing this on tumblr, and I wasn't sure if I reblogged it, but I really liked the description you put for that post. It made me think about him, as well as the enormity of characters in the series, and in the end I thought that it will be ending up on my top favorite artworks.
For your first several times using a tablet, this came out rather nicely! Please keep up the good work!

Thank you for your appreciation and support ...! I merely enjoy exploring the personalities of characters too much... but I find Arthur to be an especially appealing and interesting character. He can come off as rude, snarky, and arrogant, but he can also express sensitivity and genuine happiness, and the moments that do catch him like that, I find especially special. Ahahah, funny word usage -

Hmm, somewhere around that. I started... sometime on December 2011; This was my first drawing using my tablet. (It was a Bamboo Fun, though this past Christmas, my mom got me a new Intuos.) Since then I've been working to improve with the use of a tablet!
Oh, it's no problem. I think that is something really great to do-- it can give a sense of connection to the character as well. But yes, I wholly agree with you. ^u^
