YOUTUBE This is an one year old design that I touched up on when I had to submit a character sheet for my animation class (lol too lazy to draw a new one for the class XD but I'm not going to animate this character, I'm working on a group project about immigration...)
Anyway, this is Amby, named after the scientific name for axolotl, Ambystoma mexicanum (or Upa Rupa in Japanese lol). The wild type of axolotls are brown, but the leucistic and albino kind is used for research on regeneration because their translucent skin makes for easy observation.
This character will appearing in one of my many future stories~~~

About a year or two ago I saw this picture, just recently I saw an actual axolotl for sell a local pet store. They have them in brown, albino and albino with no eyes. I love these little creature because of this picture and am hoping to get one as a pet. Axolotls are very cute and fun to look at. It will not be an impulse buy. I have experience with aquariums and amphibians and I want to add it to my family of pets. I think these little guys are can make great pets if you know what you are doing. But they are not for everyone.
