My comics / Instagram / Twitter / Pixiv / Ko-fi

My chosen protagonists Therion and Hikari from Octopath Traveler 1 & 2 (both of whom I just chose based on looks but turned out to be my favs anyway).

The background is supposed to combine their starting regions (cliffs and desert), but I kind of wish I'd gone with my original plan of just having a plain/vaguely coloured vignette. I overworked it pretty much as soon I started to render and now it is too vague to look like anything but too detailed to look like nothing. And then not liking how it looked at that stage killed my motivation to continue working on it for a bit.

I also drafted the sketch digitally bit by bit over the course of about a month and didn't account for things turning out way smaller than they look on screen when transferred to paper which meant losing or easily messing up a bunch of small details. And my colours look different on every screen so I don't even know whether I like the result after post processing or not. o(-(

All that said, I'm glad I actually finished the piece, since I have increasingly less time/energy to start new art, let alone complete them.
