An Anne art trade!
let me have a free choice in what character I would like to draw for the art trade, I chose her dragon character, Denali. <3 He has an amazing design which was fun to draw! I started this over a month ago, I believe, most likely yeah. I posted some WIPs on tumblr, I changed the clouds since they were bugging me and those clouds look A LOT better.
Doing this trade has reminded me to work with water more often, been a while... but I like the results of this art trade. I hope you like it, Anne! ;u; Denali was fun to work with, such a gorgeous character.

Duuuuuuude this picture is simply AMAZING! Seriously man, just epic! You worked SO so hard on this, and it is BEYOND apparent! Seriously! Everything in this is so GOOD!
First of all, that background is just AMAZING! The soft oranges are sooooo pretty I can't even right now. I like the, like, concept of the background! It's like an ocean AND a forest. It's like everything awesome IN ONE PLACE. Or maybe it's just a lake. Either way THE POINT STILL STANDS. I LOVE those soft poofy white clouds and all the details in the rocks shore back there! LOOOOVE the tree bark too! All those pretty orangey lines are just delicious omfg <3333333. And oh my gooooodddd those WAVES. The water detail just in general is top-notch but man THOSE. WAVES. I love the way they roll in on the shore like that and the BAM EPIC SPLASH coming off of his front feet like that. LOVE. This background is so tight amglove
AND DENALI. OHHHH MY GOD DENALI. He's so pretty and warm like the rest of the background and I simply ADORE it. Ugh you drew EVERY SINGLE SCALE. Even those tiny ones on his face! I don't even do those half the time <__<. Man you must have the patience of a GOD. His pose is so sound, too! I love how sturdy he looks! I love his back feet in particular! Plus you made his face nice and round. Which is AWESOME because I'm anal about the roundness of his face for some reason >__>;. I love how big his wings are too and his FLUFF. FLUFF ABSOLUTELY EVERYWHERE LORD. Man I LOVE it! Dude all those little beardy details too oooomg. Plus his horns have those little bumps on the perimeter and just UGH. You got his design down to the VERY very last detail. Seriously PROPS to you!

YES! Forests and oceans are awesome, so I just had to combine them into one picture. Those clouds were seriously fun to draw, a lot better than the clouds I had in my other WIP. <3 Happy to hear you like the background, Anne. It was fun to draw.
xD I'm very OCD about character designs, I'm constantly checking if the design is right and everything. Good thing that I didn't livestream this or it wouldn't have went anywhere. Hehe... but I loved drawing his scales, they were really fun after a while of getting things together for the design. Haha, nah, I'm not really patient, just OCD I guess.
