I don't usually gor much for photomanips, but this is really great artwork, and very atmospheric.

Cheers Dennis
I actually had to click on this, to see what the image was ...I couldn't remember
It's not a manip, but used the photo as a backdrop, the 3D rendering in Daz studio. I moved onto the program Carrara to do such pieces. If ever you get bored, you should dabble, such great things can be achieved

I kinda realised after I'd posted the comment, that it wasn't a manip.
I have a photo of me on a single wooden seat, taken by my ex, and one of my ex sat in it, which I took. They were taken by different cameras, (both Fujis, but different models), and from slightly different postitions. I blended them together in Paintshop Pro 7, to make it appear we are sitting together on a two-seater bench.
It took hours and a different programme to help it along, but I am quite proud of the outcome. It might not look very good to the trained eye, but I'd never done anything like it before.

No worries at all, you know, photoshop is a hell of a program
They always said the camera never lies..totally untrue!!!
Photomanipping can bring joy, just like you described about your work...I'd liked to think I got quite good at it

I just spent a couple of hours trying to find the pic I described. Got through 10 discs and not found it yet.

Haha..been there mate
My organisation with the manipping was terrible, these days, with photos I give it a date or title...gives me half a chance

Maybe I should start. I only have my photo editing software on this pc. Will have to get the old one linked in so I can use the old programmes on there.
I have Paint Shop Pro 7 on here, but it's an old prog on W7, and isn't quite the same somehow.

Thankyou...but as I always say, aim for way higher than my stuff ever was
Mind you this was made in DAZ, so it's quite old...once I moved up to Carrara
I just checked your gallery, you only got a few pieces...but your going real well...good to see in your stuff, you've already got the knowledge that the lighting is the key to getting great results

You're welcome!
I stole the slogan from one of those decorative planks of wood with phrases stamped on them. It was hanging on the straw, cream & sugar station at the local coffee shop. <3

I'm only learning how to use Daz myself...almost of the stuff i have done here are photomanips...I just play in it to get a better understanding of it all...heck, just with the lights..'uberlights'..they still come out pitch black!!!
there are some great tutorials people put up here to help us get better...same as I used here in this piece
Trust me..you'll get better at it, same as me

thankyou...actually it wasn't too bad. I think I started it yesterday morning, & in fits & starts, finished it this morning...I guess the actual render took about 55 mins (it's relatively small...2007x1286)... 3 renders to get it good, then playing in CS4 putting in lights & playing with layers, I guess 3.5 hours in all there...so maybe 6-7 hours.
