People are speculating that she may be the girl that turned into Charlotte which would be pretty interesting if that were true. I'm just glad that this means Mami won't be alone anymore haha.....
OH AND SHE'S VOICED BY THE PERSON WHO VOICED YUNO IN HIDAMARI SKETCH SO THATS PRETTY COOL.

You got the shading on her dress perfect, I do however think that Nagisa has a tiny but more hair going through her hair ties. The background is absolutely beautiful, you did a very good job.

It was explained that in the production notes that Charlotte became a witch because she wished for a delicious cheesecake to eat with her dying cancerous mother and after her mother died, Kyuubey said that she could've just wished her mother to be healthy. Which made her despair so hard she turned into a witch right there and thats why her grief seed was found at the hospital.
Walpurgis is not a human turned into a witch rather a whole bunch of witches combined into one big witch. And it appears every year on that day of the actual holiday in Europe where legends say that witches all gather at some area...which is why veteran magical girls like kyouko and mami know about it.
something tells me Nagisa did make a contract in the third movie since she was described as a 'new magical girl' and not just a new character o:

This is intriguing to me. A new magical girl, in this new world...? I suspect that she may be connected to Madoka in some metaphysical fashion. I mean, she has a similar colour scheme to Ultimate Madoka (pink dress and white hair, as opposed to a white dress and pink hair; also, golden-yellow eyes), and she's voiced by Asumi Kana, who voiced Yuno in Hidamari Sketch. Yuno was Urobuchi's basis for Madoka's character, and he said in an interview a year or so back that he actually originally wanted to cast Asumi Kana as Madoka's voice actor. Hmm... perhaps Nagisa, whose name means "the shore of one-hundred streams", and whose eye colour does not match her hair colour, is the magical lovechild of Madoka & Homura...? (Homura is the papa; recall the pregnant silhouette in the credits of Beginning?)

She does have a resemblance to Ultimate Madoka, especially in the hair style and that's what I thought too before I read all the theories surrounding her and Charlotte...Β
I would take the voice actor choice lightly since, well...Sae's voice is Hitomi's, Miya's voice is Mami's, Hiro's voice is Madoka's mom...there's no connection between those...I think they just chose the most fitting voice actors xD And Asumi is fitting for a cute loli. This is Shaft after all.
Her eye color not matching her hair color is strange when you compare it to the main cast but there ARE other exceptions too (Chitose Yuma for example has blue eyes and green hair, some of the girls in Kazumi also have unmatching hair and eyes)
Also I don't think she has a stronger connection to Homura than to the other girls. In the poster, she is shown clinging to Mami. And the wiki does say that it was Kyouko and Mami who met her, while Homura is grieving over loneliness without Madoka. I think she has more of a connection to Mami in that case and that would make sense if she was somehow connected to Charlotte. But yea..
