I'm very proud of this manipulation! My first try at blending backrounds too! 
Te horses were difficult and the shadows look like shit, but I tried my hardest. 
About:
I made this for a very close of friend of who recently had his wife suddenly leave him.
I felt so terrible, so I made him this. The black horse means his deceased horse Ty and the appy his dalmation Gypsy. Time: Numerous hours for the time of two weeks.

well this is absolutely gorgeous! the background is just soo amazing and perfect! i like how you were able to do the clouds and also the rocky plains is very nice. the black horse is very nicely colored, he looks so real that i could just reach up and touch it but i cannotXDD the tinting is very nicely done. lets see the appy one is also very nice i lav how you did the design and the hair looks very nice. theyre mane looks very nice, you sure did put lots of effort and a lot of time into this soo very nice job!
