So, this was an art project for my drawing 101 class. If you couldn't tell, it's supposed to represent the white stag told often in mythology/folklore. I felt like showing him as "death" would be interesting. The strange hands represent humanity's want of such purity and to express how they lusted after the white stag/deer. The flags show this as well. The blood is... blood. And the crows are there to help reinforce the idea of death.

The assignment was to draw something with positive and negative space. Include a texture of some sort, and have one color if we didn’t use conté for the drawing.

Used charcoal, red marker, and some pens for the face.
