There are some works from you that remind me of post-war situations ... this is one such example. Also it is even more heartwrenching when there are babies or kids represented in your drawings. As I said some time ago, I think your figures are, in the majority of cases, not of a special sex or age, while with some I have the feeling "that´s a woman" or "that´s an older/younger one" 
Here I imagine a woman that lost her whole family, maybe she also bore the child all by herself and now she is on her way .. to a totally uncertain future, to an uncertain destination .. through a wasted land ... I think it´s hard to really imagine such a scenario for those who were/are lucky enough not to live in a time/place of war. That´s actually a personal apocalypse, I think. All destroyed and lost and hopeless.
Also this woman here looks so exhausted and devoided of any feelings, but she also is responsible for new life. No time for self-pity, to say it sloppily ...

Really suprised that you noticed it, I never learned how to create human so I must combined elements which will give me opportunity to presented some creature
